The largest commercial size band of Tanzanian washed arabica, retained on a screen 18 sieve. Big, even beans take heat evenly in the roaster, which is why AA is the grade most buyers name first. Bright acidity and a clean finish are typical of well-washed northern and southern lots; we cup every offer rather than assume it from the size.
